Palestinian prisoner dies in Sharon Prison; police investigating

A 50-year-old Palestinian man died at the Sharon Prison on Saturday afternoon. The man, who was nearing the end of his sentence, had been jailed for criminal offences.
An MDA medical team alerted to the scene was forced to pronounce his death upon arrival.
Israel Prison Services opened an investigation into the incident.
