Peace Now report counts 250,000 West Bank settlers

By the end of 2005, approximately 250,000 settlers were living in the West Bank in the 121 settlements and 102 outposts, according to a report released Monday by Peace Now. The report stated that in 33 of the outposts, permanent housing was either already built, or under construction. An increase of construction was noted in the settlements as well, during 2005. During last year, tenders for 1,184 residential units in the settlements were published.
