Police arrest Kiryat Ata man suspected of electricity-meter fraud

Police arrested a 60-year-old man from Kiryat Ata on Thursday, who is suspected of disrupting the operation of multiple electricity meters in order to lower the electricity bills of homes and businesses.
The electricity company assessed the damages caused by the fraud at hundreds of thousands of shekels.
Police will ask the court on Friday to extend the suspect's remand.
