Report: Sammy Ofer gives NIS 3m to cancer patients

Health Minster Yaacov Ben-Yizry and Gil Pensioners Party Chairman Rafi Eitan announced Friday night that they received an NIS three million donation from Israeli business tycoon Sammy Ofer that would allow for the treatment of patients with cancer in the large intestine.
The money will allow for the treatment for a period of one month of all patients with cancer of the large intestine.
Ben-Yizri said that a permanent solution was being worked on, and urged hunger strikers to resume eating.
