Reservists: Conditions still poor despite post-war promises

Reserve soldiers told the State Comptroller Committee Tuesday that despite promises that their equipment and facilities would be improved following the Second Lebanon War, their conditions remain in dire straits. Despite the many problems exposed during the war, and the subsequent promises the IDF made to reservists, nothing has changed according to soldiers who spoke to the committee. Committee Chairman Zevulen Orlev (NU-NRP) promised to look into the issue.
