Shas reports progess in coalition talks with Kadima

Shas officials on Friday morning reported progess in coalition talks with Kadima, the day after the two sides came to an agreement on child welfare payments, Army Radio said.
According to the understandings reportedly reached, the next state budget will include what Shas terms "grants for needy families," in addition to a "state services basket."
On Sunday, Kadima and Labor negotiating teams are set to discuss broadening the budgetary framework.
