Shifra wins Big Brother as hundreds of thousands tune in

After three and a half months of round the clock life in front of the camera, the final three contestants of the hit TV series Ah Hagadol, the Israeli version of Big Brother, were evicted one after the other on a live three-hour special Tuesday night, leaving 27 year-old Jerusalem resident Shifra Cornfeld the last contestant standing in the house, which saw 19 other personalities from all over the country depart the show before her. Hundreds of thousands of people across the country tuned into the show, in which SMS votes for the final four contestants were tallied, while a gala event was held at a makeshift TV studio in Neve Ilan, where the house is located.
