59-year-old woman hospitalized in Nahariya contracted virus on flight from Spain.

A Sixth case of swine flu was confirmed in Israel on Thursday.
A woman who returned to Israel from Mexico with her husband was hospitalized along with her husband, who was confirmed as having the disease. She and her husband were released and asked to remain in their house. The Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv, where they were hospitalized, notified her on Thursday that she also had the disease.
On Wednesday, a 59-year-old woman who was hospitalized in Nahariya was confirmed to have the virus. She contracted it on a flight from Spain, becoming the first Israeli to be infected without having visited Mexico.
Hospital officials said she was in good condition.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old Holon woman who contracted the virus was released from hospital on Wednesday. However, she must still spend a few more days in isolation in her home.
Also Wednesday, Poland's health authorities confirmed the nation's first case of swine flu in a woman who returned from the United States in early May.
Health Minister Ewa Kopacz told reporters the official National Health Center lab had confirmed the presence of the swine flu virus in a 58-year-old woman who returned to southern Poland from New York on May 2.
The woman was hospitalized in the southern eastern city of Mielec on Tuesday and was listed in stable condition.
Kopacz says all other passengers of the Polish LOT plane that were on the flight with her and her family would undergo tests and a quarantine.
It was not clear whether the woman had contact with people who had recently been to Mexico.
