Soldier given 21 months for selling stolen weapons

A soldier convicted of stealing and selling weapons during his military service was sentenced to 21 months in jail on Wednesday. The Jerusalem District Court said that during Vladimir Dudkevitch's one-and-a-half years of service at a Jerusalem Border Police base, the soldier stole thousands of bullets, a few hand grenades, and additional ammunition. The stolen goods were worth around NIS 10,000. Dudkevitch was given free access to the weapons storage on his base during his service.
