Suspected mob boss Ya'acov Alperon released on bail

Suspected mob boss Ya'acov Alperon was released on bail Thursday by the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court after more than 40 days in custody. Alperon was arrested in December with Amir Nigarker, an IDF soldier who serves in the Paratroopers Brigade, on suspicion of putting out a contract on underworld figure Rafi Ohana. Police are still searching for Alperon's son, Dror, who is also suspected of involvement in the attempted mob hit.
