Synagogue damaged in Haifa blaze; police open investigation

A fire in Haifa's Neve She'an neighborhood damaged a synagogue overnight Sunday. Police alerted to the scene discovered furniture, curtains and electricity lines had been burnt, though firefighters were not required. The cause of the blaze was unknown, and police opened an investigation into the incident.
