Talks between Israel Aviation Authority, German counterpart break down

Talks between the Israel Aviation Authority (IAA) and its German counterpart on increasing flights between the two countries broke down Wednesday following Germany's refusal to grant Israeli airlines their requested landing times.
Army Radio reported that according to estimations, the Israeli companies Israir and Arkia were planning to cease all flights to Germany while the German airline Lufthhansa would stop providing flights to Ben Gurion Airport.
