Tarif convicted of crime involving moral turpitude

The Tel Aviv District Court rejected an appeal by MK Salah Tarif on Sunday morning, thereby convicting him of a crime involving moral turpitude. The conviction effectively ends Tarif's ability to serve in the Knesset. The appeal attempted to change the decision that acts of bribery, fraud and breach of trust are free of moral turpitude.
