Toddler drowns in Akko pool; police open investigation into lifeguards

A seven-month-old child drowned Saturday afternoon in a swimming pool at Tamarim beach in Akko.
Police were investigating the manager of the pool and the lifeguards who were present at the scene, after reports surfaced that the child may have died as a result of their negligence.
