Two people were killed and eight others injured in a head-on collision on Road 1 between Jerusalem and Jericho near the Almog Junction on Friday afternoon.
Those killed were both Israelis. One, a 50-year-old woman, died at the scene of the accident and the second, a 7-year-old boy, died on the way to the hospital.
Of the eight injured, one was in serious condition, one in moderate condition and six were lightly injured, ZAKA reported.
