Three were killed in a collision between a car and a van near Kibbutz Magal on Tuesday, Israel Radio reported.

The investigation reported that the van swerved into the car's lane, hitting it head-on.

MDA helicopters reached the site, to bring the victims to the Rambam hospital in Haifa. Three were moderately injured and one slightly injured, some of whom were trapped inside the car.

The accident occured on Route 581 between the Magal intersection and Kfar Haroeh. Both vehicles had passengers in them.

Police is investigating what led to the accident, and the area has been closed to traffic.
