Former IDF chief of General Staff and future Likud MK Moshe Ya'alon on Thursday called on the government not to include Tanzim leader Marwan Barghouti in a prisoner exchange deal for captured IDF soldier Gilad Schalit. Ya'alon told the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations that it would be a terrible mistake to set Barghouti free, since he has been convicted of murdering dozens of Jews.
