Jewish Hollywood celebrity Lisa Kudrow on Wednesday stopped by TBS's late-night talk show Conan, hosted by Conan O'Brien, and in between laughs, told him that her 16-year-old son had recently been bar-mitzva'd "drive-by style."
She continued and explained that her son, who had not had a bar mitzva when he was 13, was recently in a mall in Los Angeles when Chabad members stopped him, asked him if he was Jewish, and when he answered that he was, offered to bar mitzva him.
She refered to the quickie religious service jokingly as a "drive-by bar mitzva" and told Conan that when her family found out about his "becoming of a man," they showered him with traditional gifts.
