The biggest news story in the US these days is the Republican primaries, so of course Saturday Night Live had to get in the action with their famous impressions. Andy Samberg has been impersonating conservative Christian candidate Rick Santorum, and in last week's opening monologue, he gave a very interesting reason as to why the US should bomb Iran:

Meanwhile, another conservative Christian said something that may make Israel and Jews laugh a bit less. Normally, unfortunately, an anti-Semitic pastor wouldn't be news, but when the pastor is Rev. Keith Hudson, the Schmooze would be remiss to not cover it. Why? Because Hudson is the father of pop princess Katy Perry. Recently, Hudson said in a sermon:

You know how to make the Jew jealous? Have some money, honey. You go to L.A., and they own all the Rolex and diamond places. Walk down a part of L.A. where we live and it is so rich it smells. You ever smell rich? They are all Jews, hallelujah. Amen.

Perry's father claims the statements were not anti-Semitic, and that he was blessing his congregation that they be so rich it would make Jews jealous.

If we're already on the topic of Christians talking about Jews, check out this hilarious video, "Sh*t Christians say about Jews." Based on the "Sh*t white girls say" Internet meme, this clip is made up entirely of things said to its star, Allison Pearlman.

In casting news, famous non-Jew Demi Moore has been cast as famous Jewish feminist Gloria Steinem, in the upcoming biopic of Deep Throat starring Linda Lovelace. Following the infamous pornographic film’s release in 1972, Steinem became involved in a national campaign against pornography.

James Franco (Source: Reuters).James Franco is in talks to play Mystery, the infamous teacher of Neil Strauss. Strauss is the author of The Game, which is essentially a guide to picking up women by insulting them (bad strategy, dudes). Franco is probably perfect for the role in an upcoming film based on the book. On the one hand, he's topped numerous "sexiest" lists. On the other, he's a bit creepy.

Back in Israel, MK Anastasia Michaeli (Israel Beiteinu) made headlines by pouring a cup of water on MK Ghaled Majadle (Labor). Soon after, MK Ahmed Tibi (UAL-Ta'al) gave a speech in the Knesset, saying that Anastasia's plumbing must have been broken. (The joke is funnier in Hebrew, because "Anastasia" rhymes with the word for plumbing.) Noy Alooshe, famous for his Gaddafi remix, decided to mash up the incident with Tibi's speech for a new techno hit:

If you like that song, check out this Middle Eastern hit by Can Bonomo, a Turkish singer who was selected to represent her country in the upcoming Eurovision competition. The catch? Bonomo is Jewish! The 24-year-old says that she combines "Istanbulian music with international indie style." Check out her song "Meczup":
