Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has reportedly donated funds to the country's sole Jewish hospital.
Rouhani purportedly donated $400,000 to Iran's Dr. Sapir Hospital, New York Time's Tehran bureau chief Thomas Erdbrink said Thursday on Twitter citing the Islamic Republic's semi-official Mehr news agency.
Meanwhile, Iran's official IRNA news agency reported that Rouhani had contributed $170,000 to the charity hospital, which also attends to non-Jews.
Iran's Jewish population is said to consist of some 25,000 people.
