“Over 10,000 people from 90 countries will visit Jerusalem for our historic 2018 OurCrowd Global Investor Summit,” said OurCrowd CEO Jon Medved. “ShukTech combines the energy of Thursday Shuk nightlife with the tech ecosystem. It’s the perfect after-party to showcase our city and wrap up such a monumental day.”

The gathering will feature a night of CEO meet-ups, delicious food, craft beers, live music, street art, video walls and informal pitches from some of the city’s most aspiring and inspiring tech entrepreneurs. Companies pitching will include RenewSenses, Bitemojo, Strattic and more.

This event is a highlight for the burgeoning Jerusalem start-up scene.

“With over 600 startups currently located in Jerusalem, the city has become a hub of innovation,” Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat said. “ShukTech celebrates the cultural and hi-tech renaissance in our city.”

ShukTech will take place in partnership with The Ministry of Jerusalem and Heritage, The Jerusalem Municipality, Jnext and MassChallenge Israel.
