Sir Paul

Stebbings, an actor and the artistic director of TNT music theater and The American Drama Group Europe, was born in the UK.

In June 2013, Paul Stebbings was awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II for services to British culture, and on February 7 he received a knighthood.
Stebbings, an actor and the artistic director of TNT music theater and The American Drama Group Europe, was born in the UK, studied drama at Bristol University and trained in the Grotowski method with Triple Action Theater in his own country as well as in Poland.
Since founding TNT in 1980, he has received regular Arts Council funding for his work in the UK. He has also acted for Nottingham Playhouse and directed and written for the South Yorkshire Theater; the Paragon Ensemble, Glasgow; the Tams Theater, Munich; the St. Petersburg State Comedy Theater; the Athens Concert Hall, Megaron and the Teatro Dioniso in Costa Rica. Festival appearances include the award-winning Wizard of Jazz at the Munich Biennale, the Off-Broadway Festival in New York, and award-winning performances at the Edinburgh Festival of The Murder of Sherlock Holmes, in which he played the title role.
