If you love the MacBook, but won't be switching from Windows anytime soon, the new EliteBook 6930p from HP may be for you. This lightweight notebook is an excellent choice for professionals on the go and has all of the standard things anyone would want in a laptop, including a DVD drive. The new laptop comes with a brushed aluminum case which protects it from dirt, humidity, intense vibrations and extreme temperatures. It also comes with a selection of features that will thrill any gadget enthusiast. The EliteBook 6930p's batteries can get up to 10.5 hours of life on a single charge, which is really convenient on a long trip. It is equipped with HP's QuickLook 2, which gives users the ability to check e-mail and run other applications without switching on the notebook, while booting up in just 10 to 12 seconds. The whole thing weighs 2.1 kg. and comes equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo with vPro technology. You can choose between integrated Intel graphics or ATI graphics with up to 256 MB dedicated video memory. You can configure it with 120, 160 or 250 GB, and even go up to half a terabyte of hard drive space and an enormous amount of RAM, if you want to go that route. The 6930p has an energy efficient diagonal 14.1-inch widescreen display that can get a resolution up to 1280_800 for a great gaming experience. But wait! There's more! Its built-in 2-megapixel camera doubles as a card reader when tilted to a certain angle. The data captured from the business card is automatically loaded on to your address book. That means you'll never forget a name, e-mail or a phone number.
