Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday met officials in Finland, which takes over the rotating presidency of the European Union in July.
Abbas held talks with President Tarja Halonen and other officials, including Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja. He was also due to meet lawmakers before flying to France for a two-day visit for talks on how the international community could resume aid to the Palestinian people.
