Egyptian FM denies reporting progress in Israeli-Palestinian peace talks

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit on Sunday denied a report in the Qatari newspaper a-Sharq that he had announced progress in the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, AFP reported.
According to the a-Sharq report, Gheit had said that a great amount of progress had been achieved in the negotiations but that the Israelis and Palestinians did not want to reveal the details.
