Erekat: IDF attacks on Gaza endanger the diplomatic process

The Palestinian Authority cannot agree to "give and take" with Israel, so long as the IDF continues its attacks in the Gaza Strip, and so long as Jewish settlements continue to be established, Saeb Erekat, a senior member of the Palestinian Authority negotiating team in talks with Israel, said on Thursday.
In an interview with the newspaper Asharq el-Awsat, Erekat said Israeli attacks will put an end to the diplomatic process, and will cause any final status agreement to fail.
