Hamas denies sending a delegation to Cairo to complete truce deal

Hamas denied that it had sent a delegation to Egypt in order to complete a cease-fire agreement with Israel, Army Radio reported on Saturday afternoon. Senior Hamas official Izat Rishak reportedly said that "there will not be any progress without the lifting of the siege on Gaza and the opening of the border crossings." Meanwhile, the Associated Press reported that senior Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar, along with a second Hamas official, crossed into Egypt Saturday and were expected to meet Egyptian officials.
