Hamas denied that it had sent a delegation to Egypt in order to complete a cease-fire agreement with Israel, Army Radio reported on Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the Associated Press reported that senior Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar, along with a second Hamas official, crossed into Egypt Saturday and were expected to meet Egyptian officials.
