'In bid for Gaza truce, Rice tried to mediate between Israel, Arab League'

In a bid for a Gaza cease-fire, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice recently tried to mediate between Israel and the Arab League, Army Radio reported Thursday.
According the report, Israel demanded a complete cessation of attacks by Gaza terrorists as well as weapons smuggling.
