Iraqi officials: 10 dead in car bomb in crowded Baghdad market

A car bomb in a crowded cattle market south of Baghdad has killed 10 people and injured 32 others, Iraqi police and medical officials said Thursday. Iraqi police Maj. Muthana Khalid said the bomb exploded Thursday morning in the market west of Hillah. Khalid said those killed and injured were at the market buying and selling cattle. Dr. Hussam al-Janabi, a medical official in Hillah, confirmed the casualty toll.
