Khaled Mashaal: No long-term truce in Gaza until all crossings are open

Hamas leader in Syria Khaled Mashaal said Friday that the group did not care who wins the elections in Israel "because they are all occupiers and killers." He insisted that Hamas will not hold its fire for a long term unless all crossings are opened and the Gaza Strip is rebuilt. Mashaal said no body which fails to accept "resistance" as the Palestinians' choice could be legitimate, a comment which could be construed as a stab at the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO). "The Palestinian victory in Gaza has strengthened the faith of the nation in the ability of resistance to bring about freedom," he said.
