Lebanese policeman suspected of spying for Israel

Lebanese authorities say they arrested a policeman accused of spying for Israel after obtaining information during the recent breakup of espionage rings across the country. The latest arrest is part of a stepped-up campaign against those suspected of gathering information on Hizbullah for Israel. A police statement Monday said the policeman was arrested April 29 at his home by agents who seized a computer and CD-ROMs. The statement claimed the man said his wife, who remains at large, also worked for the Mossad.
