Two roadside bombs exploded in quick succession during the morning rush hour in Baghdad, killing two people and wounding 15 others.
Security officials said one bomb blew up early Tuesday near a truck delivering newspapers on Palestine Street in the Shiite eastern section of the Iraqi capital.
The second blast struck a line of newspaper vendors waiting nearby to collect the papers to supply neighborhood newsstands.
It was not immediately clear how many people were killed in each blast but authorities said the total number of dead is two and that 15 were wounded.
The police officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to release the information.
