Exiled Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal's deputy, Moussa Abu Marzouk, has entered the Gaza Strip for the first time in almost 20 years, according to a Reuters report Saturday. The report quoted Palestinian and Egyptian officials as saying that Marzouk crossed into the Strip via Rafah, on the border between Gaza and Egypt. He reportedly left after only a few hours. The Jerusalem Post could not immediately confirm the veracity of the report, and Reuters said that Israeli officials declined comment.
