Spokesman: Egypt to open Rafah border crossing for 3 days

The Egyptians are going to open the Rafah border crossing on Sunday so students and residents of Arab countries stranded in Gaza can leave, a spokesman for the terminal said. It was not clear how many people would be allowed to pass through Rafah, but at least 3,000 students and Arab nationals have applied to leave Gaza. Border spokesman Adel Zourab said the Rafah border crossing would be open for three days. There was no immediate word from Egypt.
