Hundreds of protesters angry with Egypt's role in the blockade of Gaza stormed the Egyptian consulate in Aden, south of the Yemeni capital, on Tuesday.
A Yemeni security official said the protesters stormed the front gate, threw computers from windows, and climbed the two-story building to the roof and set fire to the Egyptian flag.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.
