3 arrested in Tuba Zangariyye attack on haredim who lost their way

3 residents of Hatzor were attacked after treatment at a dentist in Tuba Zangariyye, the group abandoned their vehicle which was later torched.

Police arrested 3 residents of Tuba Zangariyye, in the northern Galilee, on Friday in connection to an attack on 3 haredi residents of Hatzor who lost their way in the villiage after being treated at a dentist there.

Police reported having recieved a call on Thursday night indicating a possibly impending attack, which police later understood related to the three haredim who were wandering in the villiage.

The group of three, in their thirties, went to the village from neighboring Hatzor for emergency treatement at a local dentist.

After becoming lost on their way out of Tuba Zangariyye, the group of three stopped to ask for directions. It was at that point that several young people approached their vehicle and began to attack them.

The group abandoned their vehicle and fled the scene on foot. The vehicle was vandalized further and torched.

The Nazareth Magistrate Court will conduct a hearing on Friday regarding the extension of the three suspects' detention.
