A man is suspected of stabbing his 40-year-old ex-wife to death in her apartment in Metsada St. in Beersheba and then jumping out of the fourth story window in an apparent murder-suicide on Sunday.

Magen David Adom was called to the scene to treat the critically injured man, however, he succumbed to his injuries and died.

An initial assessment of the situation found that an argument developed between the two and that after stabbing his wife to death, the man turned the knife on himself and then jumped out of the window.  The police are further investigating the incident.

This latest tragedy comes after only a few weeks since an Arad resident admitted to allegations of shooting his wife to death.
