The Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday extended the suspect’s remand by six days.

According to suspicions, the incidents, which occurred during private dance lessons, began with sexual abuse and then progressed to rape. In other incidents, the instructor committed sexual acts as he drove the girls to their homes in his private vehicle.

“He took advantage of his authority as their teacher and promised the girls that they would perform in solos during performances if they let him carry out his schemes on them,” Rehovot Police chief Ofer Dagan told Army Radio on Wednesday “He had private lessons with the girls and took advantage of those lessons to sexually assault the girls and carry out other acts,” he added.
