Three men and one woman suffered stab wounds in four separate incidents nationwide late Thursday night, with one of the victims being treated for what are regarded as serious injuries.
Just before dawn Friday, Magen David Adom ambulance and medical personnel were summoned to Allenby Street in Tel Aviv, where an 18-year-old man was found sprawled on the ground after having been stabbed in his upper body.
Rescue workers administered medical treatment to him on the spot before rushing him to Sourasky Medical Center, where he is listed in serious condition. Doctors at Sourasky performed emergency surgery on the youth.

Earlier in the night, paramedics were called to the promenade region along the Bat Yam beachfront, where a 25-year-old man was found with stab wounds. The MDA rushed the victim to Wolfson Hospital, which is listing him in moderate-to-serious condition.
Police said that the man is unsure of the motive for the stabbing, but investigators did receive a tip which led to the arrest of one suspect who is currently in custody.
Another youth, 25, suffered moderate injuries after being stabbed in Zikhron Ya'akov. An MDA ambulance crew administered initial treatment before evacuating the victim to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera.
In Beersheba, a young woman was stabbed in her face while patronizing a nightclub in the city. Police are searching for the suspect who is believed to have had previous run-ins with law enforcement.
Police arrested the owner of the club, a man in his twenties, for ejecting the woman from his establishment without calling for assistance.
An initial probe into the incident revealed that the woman was stabbed during an altercation with another woman in Beersheba's Old City. Police believe that the club owner locked the door and refused entry to the victim after the stabbing.
