A Kiryat Shmona man was badly wounded Tuesday morning when his car exploded in what police are saying was an underworld car bombing.
The victim, a local man in his 30s, was found by Magen David Adom paramedics at 7:51am sitting in the car on Henrietta Szold street in the northern city, with serious wounds to his lower extremities. He was airlifted by MDA from the scene and is undergoing treatment.
The victim is "known to police" from other investigations, though police were not able to say on Tuesday if the bombing was part of an ongoing feud in the city or a one-off attack by a criminal rival.
