Thousands of travelers were stuck at Ben-Gurion airport in Lod on Sunday morning due to a technical failure of the airport's computer system, including the X-ray machines that checks suitcases.
Maariv online reported that the system that failed is new and according to workers at the airport, often causes troubles.
The issue was first reported around 5 a.m, and continued for hours into the day, when it was finally resolved by the afternoon.
