Thousands of travelers were stuck at Ben-Gurion airport in Lod on Sunday morning due to a technical failure of the airport's computer system, including the X-ray machines that checks suitcases.

The issue was first reported around 5 a.m, and continued for hours into the day, when it was finally resolved by the afternoon.
