Young woman, 25, killed in hit-and-run in Tel Aviv

Woman struck by two cars while crossing the street in north Tel Aviv; police open manhunt for driver of blue and white BMW SUV.

A young woman, 25, was killed Friday morning in a hit-and-run accident on the corner of Pinkas and Weizmann streets in Tel Aviv.

She was crossing the street when a blue and white Jeep struck her, knocking her approximately 20 meters down the road into the oncoming lane, where a second vehicle struck her, killing her instantly.
Magen David Adom paramedics were called to the scene, where they found she had already succumbed to her wounds.
Police have opened an investigation into the incident and launched a manhunt for the driver of the blue and white sport utility vehicle that struck her and fled the scene.
