An advertisement for a Chinese detergent brand has gone viral for the wrong reasons.

In what some are calling "the most racist ad of 2016," the commercial shows a woman shoving a black man into a laundry machine, pouring the Qiaobi detergent into the receptacle, and "cleaning" the man to the point where he emerges as a white-skinned Asian.
