Yeshiva students rescue SpongeBob
A group of yeshiva students unwittingly performed a mitzva on American national television recently when they helped SpongeBob Squarepants up from the pavement in Los Angeles as he was desperately seeking assistance while hundreds of passersby simply walked on by in apathy.
The segment was filmed for Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show on the ABC television network.
The clip shows how it took six minutes before somebody bothered to come to the aid of the desperate SpongeBob.
After being helped up, SpongeBob and his new friends break out in a hora dance and sing Hava Nagila.
