The corona effect 1
The  novel coronavirus can sometimes have a positive effect. Following the instructions to pay more attention to hygienic behavior, Mayor Moshe Lion has decided to equip all schools in the city with disinfection liquids to provide protection for the health of the children and students. However, Lion and high-ranking municipal officials are still considering an eventual closure of all the education institutions for the coming days, in order to block the virus’s spread as much as possible.
The corona effect 2
Earlier this week, the temporary president of the Mahaneh Yehuda market’s association officially announced that all the parties and festivities planned in the shuk for Purim are canceled. This decision was reached as a precaution to avoid further outbreak of the coronavirus. This decision follows Mayor Moshe Lion’s cancellation of the city’s major Purim event, the 24-hour party in the Nahlaot neighborhood, which attracts thousands of participants, including visitors from all over the country.
