My Office Jerusalem clinched qualification to the second round of the Moshiko Soccer League with a 3-1 victory over the Bugs thanks to a heroic Shushi Bernholz display at the weekend. The Bugs had started brighter and were rewarded with a Yair Freidman strike. Knowing a defeat meant an end to their campaign, Bernholz inspired an incredible comeback, setting up Ushi Grossnass for the equalizer. Bernholz himself made some crucial tackles and gave My Office the lead with a second half thunderbolt and Grossnass settled the tie from long range. Meanwhile, SA Seniors inflicted a second defeat to the Giblets in a tense 3-2 encounter. The Africans were 3-0 up at half time through a superb Aron Goldstuck brace and Leib Ziskin powerful penalty. After the break Gav Cohen and Eli Gilbert pulled 2 back for the Giblets but resilient SA defended assured them the victory. Battling Phishpo climbed to third in Group B thanks to a David Benjo strike in their 1-0 win over D.C and Nati Cohen claimed 4 in Game Zone's 5-0 thrash of Netiv. Other results: Club Med 5, Ben Maimon 2: U.K.I. 1, Moshiko 0: Jeff's Boys 2, Carrol's Security 1: Chabadniks 1, Smoke Shop 1.
