Golf in Israel: Action heating up on the Ga’ash links

The April monthly medal at the Ga’ash Golf Club was well attended with 68 golfers participating in perfect, yet challenging, conditions.
The best gross score of the day was 81, scored by Greg Elliot.
In the A Division, the prize for the best net score went to Moshe Nessis, on net 72.
Raphy Harroche and Lionel Phillips both finished tied on net 77, with Harroche taking second place on the countback calculation.
The best net score of the day went to Dan Kampel in the B Division, with a net 65.
Eddy Hoffman, Richard Fogelson and Adrienne Biberstein all scored net 73, with Hoffman taking second place on the count-back.
Yigal Bearnea claimed the C Division title with a net 70 followed by Dani Levin on net 72.
Nearest-to-the-pin prizes, sponsored by Greenfield at Ga’ash went to Biberstein and Linda Streit.
In other Ga’ash news, Eyal Sela recorded a hole-in-one on the par-3 fourth hole playing 119 meters.
