Greenberg named coach of Hapoel Jerusalem

Last month Greenberg guided Maccabi Haifa to the BSL championship; says he always appreciated Hapoel, its fans.

One month after guiding Maccabi Haifa to the BSL championship, Brad Greenberg was announced on Saturday as Hapoel Jerusalem’s new coach.
Since officially seizing the ownership of the club last week, new boss Ori Allon has wasted little time in rebuilding the team, bringing in a new CEO in Guy Harel before signing Greenberg as coach on Saturday.
“I’m really happy to be given the chance to coach one of the biggest teams in Israeli basketball,” said the 59-year-old Greenberg, who led Haifa to its first ever league title in his first season as the team’s coach. “I’ve always appreciated Hapoel and its fans. My goal is to build a winning team wherever I go. I will do everything so that our fans will enjoy good basketball in the coming seasons.”
