Nearly 40 players competed in the September Monthly Medal at the Ga’ash Golf Club last week, with cooler weather conditions certainly helping with the stamina out on the links and a newly designed 4th green providing an challenging wrinkle for the players.

The best overall gross score was Anthony Harris, with 75 strokes, while Assaf Lengy took first place in the A Division with a net 70, followed by Raphy Harroche on 73.

In the B Division, Dani Levin and Lawrence Goodman both finished on net 72 strokes, with Levin taking first place on the countback.

Meyer Iny triumphed in the C Division with a net 74, followed by Roz Brodie on 76.

Nearest-to-the-pin prizes, sponsored by the Greenfield Restaurant at Ga’ash, were won by Lionel Philips and Mike Ossip.

Ga’ash golfers now turn their attention to the fall slate, headlined by the annual Club Championships, which are slated for October.
