Phishpo sent a warning out to the rest of the league as a masterclass performance humiliated defending champions U.K.I in a 6-0 victory on the opening day of the Moshiko Soccer League at the weekend. Man-of-the-match Lulo Hibbert and the superb Zalmi Lachs both scored hat-tricks while Nuki Chisik and Yakov Luftig defended bravely. Josh Zneimer turned villain to hero in Gourmet Caterings' thrilling 1-1 draw with Zneimer blazed a penalty high and wide and failed to score while clear through on goal but his delightful lob late on earned his side a draw cancelling out Saul Clarke's early opener. Eisler Othopaedic sit top of Group B after a highly entertaining 4-3 win over Gamezone. Ali Goldberg put Gamezone ahead only for Alon Revach (two), Yossi Taajr and Medad Eliyahu to turn the game to Eisler's favor. Josh Cantor scored two long-range efforts to pull the contest to 4-3 but a couple of outstanding Amir Shitreet penalty saves ensured Eisler all three points. Ronny Perel claimed an incredible six in the Red Devils' 7-1 drubbing of Ben Maimon. Brother Sammy scored the 7th while Stevie Brown's well-taken penalty only a consolation. Shimmy Goldstein's rigorous preseason training paid off as Red Bull Vienna comfortably defeated Borden's. Moshe Lewis claimed a sensational brace and Chaim Kornbluth a cracking finish in Red Bull's 3-0 win. The White House's Jossi Lubin and Eli Waxman scored in a superb second-half fightback after Peninat Har Nof's Isaak Hayon & Shimon Wachnish had given them a 2-0 lead. Shoko Omlis, Moshe Lipshits & Shaul Tam scored for Brunch Bagel as Aron Pardo, Eliezer Gilbert & Hillel Sugon scored for the Giblets in their 3-3 draw. Moshiko and Brad's Boykie's shared the spoils as Brad's Eli Gel equalized after Amitai Pivko's fine solo effort.
